Are you an experienced Yard Operative looking for a new opportunity with a company that values hard work, safety, and teamwork? Driver Hire Leeds West is recruiting on behalf of a fantastic client based in Morley LS27, who is looking to expand their team - and we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingAs a Yard Operative, you'll play a key role in keeping the yard running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Duties include:

Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift
Loading and unloading plant and equipment
Preparing, cleaning, and maintaining equipment (using a pressure washer where required)
Checking orders are correct before dispatch
Ensuring all plant is safely stored and stacked
Carrying out regular equipment checks and inspections
Recording stock movements accurately (inbound and outbound)
Inspecting equipment for any damage and reporting issues
Completing stock checks and reporting discrepancies
Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and safe
Following Health & Safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment
Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)
A full UK driving licence (essential)
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy objects
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work
