To process, administrate and co-ordinate customer orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring orders are completed on time and to customer specification, within budget.Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the order through from receipt to invoice issue and manage any payment disputes that arise from the order.
- Review new orders to ensure that the contractual elements are agreed with customer and agree any additional contractual requirements within agreed timeline. Ensure where appropriate orders are fulfilled using standard equipment.
- Where appropriate, determine resources required to complete the order.
- Identify the necessary information to execute the order and issue accurate and timely instructions to relevant departments to ensure equipment is designed/built/procured to the agreed specification and manage any issues that arise during the order life cycle.
- Liaise with customer regarding all elements of the order including any approvals, variation claims, instructions, delivery, site work, and/or maintenance of ongoing bulk contracts.
- Prepare and submit contractual documentation as appropriate, i.e. arrangement drawings, circuit/wiring diagrams/Operation & Maintenance Manuals, shipping documentation.
- Liaise with and assist the tendering team with technical issues where necessary.
- Feedback issues on completed orders that can assist the tendering team with future bids.
- Detailed knowledge of current & legacy product range
- Be able to compile Schematic diagrams for complex Protection Schemes
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
- Well developed interpersonal skills (Written and verbal)
- Excellent time management skills
- PC literate
- Ability to work well within a team
- Good negotiation skills
- Presentation skills
- Knowledge of Schneider Electric IT tools (Access/SAP)
- Understanding of testing and commissioning practices
- Understanding of Commercial T&Cs
- Awareness of appropriate competitor offer
- Driving license.
