Pay: £27,000.00 per yearJob description:Cogent Staffing is seeking an Accounts Administrator for our Leeds-based client. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. The ideal applicant will play a vital role in processing invoices, maintaining comprehensive financial records, and ensuring effective supplier management. This position is essential for enhancing the efficiency of our accounts function and supporting overall business operations.Shift/Salary & Package:
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Type: Temporary to permanent placement
  • Salary: £27,000 per annum
  • Location: Office-based with free parking and good public transport links, near local eateries
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter financial data into the company's accounting system.
  • Process incoming supplier invoices, ensuring they match corresponding purchase orders and deliveries.
  • Validate prices and quantities against agreed terms to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in accounts administration or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Good communication skills for supplier interactions.
The Candidate:
  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role is essential.
