As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to support their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid Sage experience looking to develop their career in a friendly and fast-paced environment.Role Overview:
The Accounts Administrator will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance department, ensuring that financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and processed efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Sage accounting software and a good understanding of standard accounting procedures.Key Responsibilities:Process purchase and sales invoices using SageReconcile bank statements and supplier accountsAssist with VAT returns and other HMRC submissionsMaintain accurate records of financial transactionsSupport with credit control and chasing outstanding paymentsAssist with payroll preparation and data input (if required)General admin duties including filing, answering finance-related queries, and maintaining spreadsheetsProvide support to the Finance Manager and wider team as neededRequirements:Proven experience in an accounts or finance administration roleStrong working knowledge of Sage 50 (or other Sage accounting platforms)Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and VATProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
