Desmond & Dempsey is a posh pyjama brand whose modus operandi is rooted in the concept of Savouring the Sunday.We are looking for a Digital Designer, with great taste to join our team. Reporting to the Brand Director and working closely with our marketing team. Your role is to ensure our communication assets look good. In fact, great.Responsibilities
Broadly speaking, it will be your role to translate the brand’s campaign photography and videography into our day to day storytelling (ie content) that our customers and community see.This involves:
- Creatively Collaborating on concepts and interesting ideas that will cause pause in the scroll. To engage our communities across all channels.
- Designing our bi-annual editorial newspaper The Sunday Paper.
- Digital Advertising: design & create compelling ad creatives (stills, motion graphics, short-form video) for use across Meta, TikTok, and other paid media channels. A bonus if you have experience behind the camera too.
- Website Mockups: Work with our E-com manager to design seasonal campaigns, launches, and editorial updates.
- Social Assets: Design and animate assets for our social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest)
- Email Design: Design engaging email campaigns & templates using our brand guidelines.
- Video Editing: Edit short-form videos in Premiere Pro for paid, organic, and campaign storytelling content.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign after Effects, Finalcut/ Premier).
- Experience in video editing and post-production processes (colour correction, grading, exporting and compressing to various specs).
- Demonstrated eye for detail, typography, and layout.
- A strong understanding of luxury aesthetics and the Desmond & Dempsey brand world.
- Portfolio that reflects editorial sensibility.
- Ideally, you’re familiar with the email platform Klaviyo.
- You genuinely believe good design can change a mood.
- You have experience in juggling your own workload and don’t like to be micro-managed.
- You have experience behind the camera and enjoy creating content.
- Are interested in being part of our strategy to make pleasurable content that re-positions laziness.
- Are organised, and love a good filing system.

For this role, we are open to international applicants.
But if you’re in London our studio is particularly nice. We’re all in the studio three days a week.
