🛠️ ASBESTOS SURVEYORFull-Time | Temporary Contract | Public Sector | Competitive RateBecky at JT Recruit is looking for an experienced and qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join a dedicated property compliance team based in Matlock on a 6 month temporary basis. This is your chance to make a real impact by supporting statutory asbestos compliance across a wide range of public buildings.In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality asbestos surveys, manage risk data, and help ensure all properties remain compliant with CAR 2012 and relevant HSE guidance.🔍 Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Management and Refurbishment/Demolition (R&D) surveys in line with HSG264
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and on-site duty holders
  • Assist with auditing, quality-checking surveys, and updating asbestos registers
  • Support the management of asbestos removal frameworks
  • Respond to asbestos-related queries and provide compliance advice
✅ What You'll Need:
  • BOHS P402 (essential) | P405 (desirable)
  • Experience in surveying a variety of building types and ages
  • Solid understanding of Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  • Strong IT and reporting skills (Excel, Word, database systems)
⏳ Contract Details:
  • Temporary contract - immediate start available
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid working - travel across Derbyshire will be required
