Exciting Opportunity for Pastry Chef- Prestigious Catering TeamAre you a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef looking for an exciting new role? We are seeking an enthusiastic Pastry Chef to join a prestigious catering team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, work in a supportive and creative environment, and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences.In this role, you will ensure excellent quality across all pastry and dessert offerings while assisting with preparation, presentation, and seasonal menu development. You will help manage food costs, support revenue goals, and comply with food hygiene, allergen, and safety regulations.Maintaining a clean and organised pastry section is essential, along with developing creative pastry dishes for conference menus. You must wear a clean, laundered uniform daily and support the Head Chef and Senior Pastry Chef in daily operations. Additionally, you will perform any other duties reasonably required in this role.What's in it for you?
  • Annual Salary: £29,039 per annual (depending on experience).

Working Hours:
  • Average of 37.5 hours per week.

About You:
  • Qualifications: City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ 1 & 2 equivalent, or a pastry/baking qualification.
  • Experience: Proven track record in a similar environment.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
  • Exceptional eye for detail and superior organisational skills.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of HACCP, COSHH, and allergen legislation.
  • Good working knowledge of health & safety regulations.
  • Personal Attributes: Friendly, approachable, responsible, and adaptable.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, late and early shifts.
