Teaching Assistant needed in Chesterfield (Temporary)Do you have a natural flare for supporting children within primary education?Primary schools across Chesterfield working closely with Academics to recruit for an ambitious and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work on a temporary basis supporting primary children with their learning and ensuring a positive and happy environment for them to thrive in.The clients that we are working with boast lovely rural settings with great outdoor space. The staff all work to a team ethos and they work to help build and support each other.What would working as a Teaching Assistant with Academics in Chesterfield entail?
  • Working hours of 8.15am to 3.45pm
  • Supporting children on both a 1:1 and group basis
  • Implementing creative ideas to bring children on course
  • Having knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum
  • Adhering to the school safeguarding policy and ensuring the safety of all pupils in your care
  • Adhering to the school behaviour policy
  • Working closely with education teams in Chesterfield
  • A dedication to education and training

What do you need to become a Teaching Assistant with us in Chesterfield?
  • Experience supporting children within a primary classroom setting
  • A Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Desireable)
  • An enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process a new one
  • A 'can do' attitude
  • A personable and nurturing approach
