- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for weekly and monthly cycles, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance
- Reconcile payroll reports, PAYE, NI, pensions, and HMRC submissions in line with statutory deadlines
- Support the migration and integration of payroll systems, identifying opportunities for automation
- Resolve payroll queries and discrepancies promptly, delivering a high standard of employee service
- Liaise with HR and finance colleagues to ensure data integrity across departments
- Assist with reporting, audit preparation, and process documentation
- Experience in a payroll-focused role, ideally within a high-volume or multi-site environment
- Strong technical understanding of UK payroll legislation, RTI, auto-enrolment, and statutory payments
- A proactive, organised approach and a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships
- Experience using systems such as Sage Payroll, ADP, or similar
- FTC or day-rate contract available
