1:1 Teaching Assistant – Foundation Stage | Canterbury | September StartAre you passionate about supporting young children in their early years of education? We are currently recruiting for a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Canterbury this September.Role Overview: This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support to a child in the Foundation Stage, helping them to access learning and thrive in a nurturing environment. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored support that meets the child’s individual needs.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support within the Foundation Stage
  • Assist with classroom activities and routines
  • Support the child’s social, emotional, and academic development
  • Carry out a lunchtime duty each day
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCo to implement support strategies
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting (desirable)
  • A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
