EYFS Teaching Assistant – SEN School – FolkestoneAre you a nurturing and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting young learners with special educational needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Folkestone.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delays. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.The Role:
  • Supporting children in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with their learning and development
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans
  • Assisting with personal care and sensory activities as required
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
✅ Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in EYFS, ideally within a SEN setting
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
