Job Title: Senior Graphic Designer - Engineering, Infographics, Colour & Materials
Location: Warwickshire (flexible hybrid, 3–4 days onsite per week)
Rate: Up to ÂŁ40 per hour (via Umbrella)
Contract: 6-9 months (with potential extension)
Start Date: ASAPThe OpportunityJoin a world-class design team shaping the future of modern luxury and sustainability within the automotive sector. This role is focused on leading the design and development of sustainable and responsible colour and materials content across core, special vehicle operations, and bespoke programmes.As Senior Lead Designer, you’ll take projects from concept through to launch, delivering innovative proof of concepts and material solutions for both interior and exterior applications.This is a chance to work at the cutting edge of creativity, sustainability, and material technology, making a visible impact on the next generation of vehicles.Key ResponsibilitiesLead on the design and development of colour & materials content with a strong sustainability focus.Create and realise innovative concepts and material solutions from early stage through to production.Present and represent design ideas confidently in reviews with managers and chief designers.Mentor junior designers and contribute actively in design reviews.Drive sustainable initiatives and “methods of make” into real-world applications.Essential Skills & ExperienceProven creative and presentation skills with excellent aesthetic judgement, colour vision and perception.Strong understanding of automotive materials, processes, suppliers, and competitor awareness.5+ years’ relevant experience with the ability to mentor and coach others.Degree qualified (or equivalent experience).Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.Advanced Adobe Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Passion for material innovation, design trends, and sustainability.Desirable SkillsExperience with VRED or video editing software (e.g. Final Cut Pro).Ability to adapt to changing design, feasibility, and cost requirements.Additional InformationHybrid role: onsite 3–4 days per week, remainder remote.Portfolios must be provided with applications.Offers post-interview will be aligned to skillset and experience.How to Apply
