MOT TESTER.Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI is looking for a MOT Tester to join our Ruxley Centre. You will work alongside a fantastic, dedicated service team and will work from a state-of-the-art workshop. If you are a qualified MOT Tester and have a passion for the BMW brand this is great opportunity to develop your career with one of the world's most admired brands in the automotive industry.YOUR ROLE.As a MOT Tester you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles meet safety and environmental standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting MOT tests, identifying faults, and providing accurate assessments and repairs whilst ensuring vehicles are inspected in accordance with BMW and DVSA standards.In addition, you will assist with routine service inspections, repairing and replacing worn or malfunctioning parts.The main duties of the role include:
  • Conducting MOT inspections and repairs
  • Perform thorough inspections of vehicles, including brakes, suspension, exhaust systems, and emissions.
  • Identify, report and rectify any faults accurately
  • Maintain accurate records of test results.
  • Perform servicing and maintenance of vehicles in accordance with BMW/MINI UK standards
  • Deliver high standards of technical advice, service, and maintenance to all customers
YOUR PROFILE.
  • Valid MOT Tester qualification
  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair/ATA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven experience working on vehicle maintenance and repairs, either in a dealership, or independent garage
  • Valid clean UK Driving Licence and must be eligible to work in the UK
