Your Role & Key SkillsAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a crucial part of a student's success. Your duties will include:
  • Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students with special educational needs, both in the classroom and during specific sessions.
  • Encouraging student engagement and contributing to their overall well-being.
  • Keeping accurate and detailed records of student progress and behaviour.
  • Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Collaborating effectively as a valuable member of the school team.
Essential RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (registered with the Update Service or willing to apply for a new one).
  • The legal right to work in the UK.
  • A strong commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development.
