In Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our Physiotherapy team in Pembrokeshire working in Withybush General Hospital.The job will involve working alongside Physiotherapists and undertaking delegated tasks to deliver physiotherapy programmes with patients in the hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who has the ability to motivate and engage with their patients, collaborate with multi disciplinary teams (MDT) to deliver holistic care as well as providing clinical administrative support to the service.We are an evolving service and are looking to recruit people who share our core values in HDUHB and who have a genuine interest and skills in rehabilitation.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will work as part of the physiotherapy service undertaking assessment and treatment programmes. They will work predominantly as part of our Respiratory and Medical inpatient physiotherapy team delivering ward based care. They will be part of a close team and also work alone with guidance and direction from the registered staff. They will assist with specified clinical duties and administrative tasks, in the provision of an efficient, caring, patient focused service alongside the wider MDT.The post holder will be required to participate in the provision of a flexible approach to a 7 day service, based on service need.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.Interviews to be held on 17/09/2025.About usHywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services.We work in partnership with the three local authorities, as well as public, private and third sector colleagues, including our valued team of volunteers.Our services are provided in:
