The company provide furniture to various clients which can be student accommodations and care-homes, this role will be mainly in the workshop but you will be required to visit sites to fit the furniture.The Job:-
- Monday to Friday with some occasional Saturdays depending on work loads
- Hours are either 7am- 4pm or 8am till 5pm, 8 hour shifts (on occasion some days will be longer if working in another city)
- Assembly of furniture to a high standard of accuracy
- Use of hand tools for assembly
- Can use a saw for machining the material
- £15 per hour
- Proven experience in furniture manufacturing preferably
- Able to use hand tools
- Articulate and methodical
- Physically able to lift and move finished furniture/load vans. Our furniture is very heavy so must be strong
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good eye for detail
- Enthusiasm for furniture assembly
- Drivers license
- 8 hour shift (on occasion some days will be longer if working in another city)
- Day shift
