Currently recruiting for an experienced Architect on a permanent staff basis for a construction company based in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, including transport, commercial, retail, and residential developments.The role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to progress your career with further training and development. You will be involved in everything from feasibility studies to project delivery, with regular travel to sites across the UK.Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Carrying out feasibility studies and site visits.
  • Preparing preliminary designs.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Preparing planning applications.
  • Preparing building regulation and construction drawings.
  • Preparing pre-construction information.
  • Project management.
Applicants to this role require:
  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge and construction detailing skills.
  • Solid understanding of UK building regulations.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
