- Oversee the operation of the service department, including assisting or covering workshop control during holidays/absence
- Cultivate a successful business sales culture focused on customer service excellence, customer retention, and new business for both workshop and parts
- Achieve high KPI standards, including MOT pass rates, 24hr breakdown results, Rex CSS reports, and maintaining dealer standards and audits
- Fully integrate into systems and processes, covering job card creation, customer updates, retail costing, workshop control, and parts processes
- Manage day-to-day workshop activities to ensure productivity, stock control, and quality performance measures are met
- Increase efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability by engaging the team's productivity and financial targets
- Ensure robust, standardized policies are adhered to by all staff
- Identify and implement training needs for all staff, including recruitment
- Proven experience in an Automotive Management or Workshop Controller role
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and effectively manage the workshop
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Diligence and accuracy in all tasks
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
- Proactive, positive attitude with a dynamic personality
