- Consistent provision of higher level comprehensive project management and administrative support.
- Undertake the management of projects
- Responsible for a defined area of work
- Manage, prioritise, plan and organise own time and co-ordinate that of your team and external partners if appropriate, using extensive knowledge, skills and experience.
- Provide leadership that encourages high performance from other staff within your team, externalpartners with the aim of maintaining optimum efficiency within the projects you are working on.
- Train and provide support/line management to enable other team members and partners to deliver against project objectives.
- GCSE grade 5/C or equivalent in English and Maths
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience to degree level
- Previous project management experience
- Working collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience of communicating with a range of people both within and external to the organisation
- Experience of dealing with non-routine administrative matters
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Highly effective written skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
- Experience of working within the Apprenticeship industry
- Experience of working with members of the public
- Supervision/co-ordination of other team members
- Confidentiality and Data Protection
- Project Management Understanding of employability and training programmes, including apprenticeships
- Knowledge of relevant work area and specialist terminology
- Data management and reporting methodologies
- Microsoft word/excel and power point
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service
- Knowledge of Apprenticeship levy utilisation
- Good working knowledge of NHS careers and how to access further information
