- Manage site operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
- Maximise the commercial performance of the contract.
- Produce and manage procurement schedules, ensuring adequate site resources.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and communicate changes effectively to the team.
- Identify and report project risks and opportunities to senior management.
- Deliver work to the specified quality without defects, ensuring production of project documentation (Plans, RAMS, ITPs, Waste Management Plans).
- Maintain detailed site diaries and records.
- Drive cost efficiency and continuously challenge processes to improve outcomes.
- Proven experience managing tunnelling and civil engineering projects in the UK.
- Strong background in civils (broad experience advantageous).
- Proficient in NEC contracts, contract management, and change management.
- Experienced in design management, risk management, CVRs, forecasting, and cost control.
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (minimum requirement).
- SMSTS certification.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to challenge designs effectively.
- Track record of delivering successful projects with minimal guidance.
