Company DescriptionAs a an Implementation Analyst you will own the tagging and datalayer implementation roadmap in terms of longer term strategy and short term operations and process across the GK central digital team. Still today our 39,000 strong team are the guardians of what's wholly British, the pub experience.Job Description**Please note this is a hybrid role and you will be required to work from our Burton office 1 to 2 days a week**Your role as Implementation Analyst.Creating a robust and effective process for the implementation and usage of tagging and data layer elements
  • Defining data layer requirements and working with developers to implement it across our digital estate
  • Implementation, debugging and troubleshooting of analytics and marketing tags
  • Own the data quality of tagging and data layer implementations to ensure robust and accurate business reporting and analysis
  • Development and maintenance of tagging best practices
  • Communicating tracking requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Supporting the delivery of the A/B and Multivariance Testing (MVT) roadmap aligned with business objectives to optimise landing pages and website conversion funnels
  • End-to-end delivery of AB testing process, including hypotheses creation, test implementation and post-test analysis
  • Business partnering with digital product owners
  • Leading the relationship with a third party digital agency
What you'll need
  • Experience working as an Analytics Implementation specialist, Digital Analyst, Web Analyst or Web Developer
  • Experience working with Tag Management System, ideally Google Tag Manager
  • Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Firebase or similar
  • Knowledge of Web Technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience of Mobile App tracking and measurement would be an advantage
  • Hands on experience using A/B Testing tools (Optimizely or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex and technical concepts to non-specialists.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management at various levels of the organisation
