Rate: Competitive — details to be discussed upon applicationWe are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our client in Plymouth, Devon. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start and involves working within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert psychiatric care to adult patients within a community mental health setting
- Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Conduct detailed psychiatric assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Ensure adherence to the Mental Health Act (MHA) and clinical governance standards
- Participate in case reviews, clinical audits, and service improvement initiatives
- Full GMC registration
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
- Proven experience in Adult Psychiatry, particularly within CMHT settings
- Previous experience in a Consultant role within the NHS
