
Asset Care Coordinator -Sidcup

- Develop and manage maintenance schedules (Asset Care, CIL, Overhaul, Modular) to the correct frequency, in line with the Maintenance Plan.
- Implement new or revised maintenance tasks in SAP PM, in collaboration with the Reliability Engineer.
- Work closely with production planning and team leaders to prioritise planned works.
- Identify the required resources and skill sets to effectively execute maintenance plans.
- Plan and support the completion of all maintenance activities, including routine tasks and line overhauls.
- Ensure spare parts are available and organised ahead of planned activities.
- Manage the ordering of spare parts and materials, including raising and tracking purchase orders.
- Monitor the status of ordered parts to ensure timely availability and minimise delays.
- Audit maintenance quality through Process Confirmations.
- Monitor and control maintenance activities to ensure close adherence to set M&R budgets.
- Maintain accuracy within the SAP PM system and ensure full work order closure.
- Develop effective communication with OEM spares departments for machinery on the lines.
- Champion Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, and Health & Safety.
- Follow site safety best practices to ensure safe working for yourself and others, demonstrating zero-accident behaviour.
- Maintain personal hygiene standards appropriate for the food industry.
- Ensure contractor control and permit-to-work systems are followed and signed off correctly.
- Share and replicate best practices with colleagues to continuously improve the maintenance plan.
- Actively participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) programmes.
- Use insights from breakdown reports to enhance the maintenance plan.

- Have a solid engineering background, preferably (but not essentially) within an FMCG environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SAP PM, particularly in maintenance scheduling and materials management.
- Be confident using MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong engineering background (FMCG experience desirable but not essential)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with SAP PM (ideally, for maintenance planning and materials management)
- Familiarity with scheduling and planning systems
