We're recruiting on behalf of a long-standing business in the Maidenhead area who need a confident and detail-driven Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to support their finance team over a busy period.This is an immediate temporary opportunity offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to play a vital part in ensuring accounts payable runs smoothly.What You'll Be Doing:
- Resolving supplier queries by phone and email with professionalism.
- Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring group-wide records are kept accurate and consistent.
- Assisting with process improvements across the purchase order (PO) platform.
- Supporting wider finance team functions and mentoring junior members where needed.
- Solid background in purchase ledger or accounts payable.
- Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-starter with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Business Central is a bonus, but not essential.
- A team player who communicates clearly and collaborates well with others.
- Competitive salary (pro rata £36,000-£40,000)
