Job Description:Role: Finance Analyst - InternationalLocation: Head Office, LeicesterSalary: £32,000 - £42,000 plus bonus & benefitsAt NEXT, not only are we one of the UK's largest fashion retailers, but we're also one of the largest listed companies. We have an exciting opportunity as a Finance Analyst to join our International Finance Team which is part of the Commercial Finance function. In 72 countries Next generates sales of over £600m per annum and the International team is responsible for the provision of all sales reporting and analysis relating to these salesBased at our Head Office in Leicester the role of Finance Analyst - International will work closely with the International Finance Manager and be involved in the reporting of sales as well as using data to manage the profitability of each country and to make key commercial decisions on how to improve profit with customer satisfaction and level of profit being key to decision making.Specifically you will act as a business partner to the Commercial Finance teams, helping to understand and scope out data/information needs and then work with the other members of the International Team to develop robust and reliable information to service those needs.Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Utilise Power BI to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and measure key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Interpret data to uncover insights and trends
  • Identify options for process improvement
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including executives, project teams, and external partners
