As part of our strategic initiatives, we are undergoing a significant finance transformation, transitioning to Oracle Fusion. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Delivery Analyst to support the delivery of data cleansing and data migration solutions as part of the finance transformation programme.About the roleWe are looking for a highly skilled Data Delivery Analyst to join our team, specialising in preparing and cleansing large volumes of data for migration into Oracle Fusion. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and readiness of data to support our finance transformation initiative. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, perform data cleansing activities, and manage data delivery processes to meet project timelines and objectives.Responsibilities
  • Data Assessment: Analyse existing data sources and assess data quality, identifying areas for improvement and adopt data cleansing strategies including deduplication.
  • Data Mapping: Map the fields and data structures from the source system to the destination system, ensuring data integrity and maintain referential integrity with related records if applicable.
  • Develop and implement data cleansing processes and methodologies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness, considering any enrichment of data required.
  • Design the execution of data transformation logic and rules to standardise and normalise data for migration into Oracle Fusion, including structured formats and within data governance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to extract, transform, and load data from source systems into staging areas for cleansing and transformation.
  • Develop and maintain data cleansing scripts, queries, and procedures to automate tasks and streamline data delivery processes.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of migrated data in Oracle Fusion, resolving any differences.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of the migrated vendor data to verify functionality, data integrity, and performance in the destination system. Involve key stakeholders and subject matter experts in validation efforts to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Document data cleansing procedures, methodologies, and best practices for knowledge sharing, reference purposes and audit and compliance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data cleansing techniques, tools, and processes, providing support and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders.
You will also be working with several business readiness teams:
  • Existing commercial and operational finance teams
  • Change management and adoption team ensuring we have the appropriate training for all users
  • Reporting team to ensure we have the data for financial reporting and reconciliation purposes
About you
  • Proficient in data mapping, transformation and validation processes.
  • Experience with a large ERP system is desirable, preferably Oracle Fusion
  • Strong understanding of data cleansing best practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to self manage, methodical with strong organisational skills ensuring multiple tasks can run in parallel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and technical teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, working with large volumes of data
  • Self-motivated as iterations of the process will be required
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and escalate issues in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Excel, Powerpoint and/or Google Presentation skills
