This is a great opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician who is clinically experienced, looking to develop themselves, and the professional role for the future.Main duties of the jobAfter training completion, the successful candidate will be able to carry out a range of clinical validation duties for different prescription types and specialities.The right candidate will also be able to:
  • Responsible for the clinical screening of a cohort of patients who are currently managed by our homecare service and out-patient chemotherapy
  • Ensure continued supply of high-cost medicines to patients
  • Support the team and deputise for senior team members where necessary and appropriate
  • Work independently, with the support of the wider team
  • Liaise and work in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Have a strong understanding of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society homecare professional standards and yearly audit
