This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking school in Amersham, where the arts are highly valued and play an integral role in school life.About the Role:
  • Teach engaging and high-quality Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is advantageous but not required)
  • Plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that develops students’ skills in performance, composition, and aural analysis
  • Contribute to a vibrant extra-curricular programme, including ensembles, choirs, concerts, and other musical events
  • Inspire a lasting appreciation and enthusiasm for music among students of all abilities and backgrounds
The ideal candidate will:
  • A qualified teacher with QTS, or currently working towards it (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for music education
  • Effective classroom management and excellent communication skills
  • Committed to supporting both the academic progress and well-being of students
  • Willing to play an active role in the wider school community
