
Collaborative Temporary Staffing Team Leader

- £38,682-46,580 per year

- Experience of working in an office environment at a supervisory or managerial level.
- Recruitment and selection experience in a temporary staffing environment.
- Recent experience of electronic Rostering / Bank Booking systems.
- Knowledge of NHS Collaborative Partnership Frameworks, NHS Agency rules and other national guidelines applicable to temporary staffing
- Experience of reporting and analysing data
- Previous experience of investigating and responding to Payroll queries
- Ability to demonstrate effective planning / organising / prioritisation of work in order to meet non-negotiable deadlines and service standards.
- Effective staff supervision, including absence and appraisal.
- NHS Employment checks standards.
- Knowledge of Employment legislation e.g. Agency worker regulations, IR35
- Confidentiality, GDPR & Information Governance.
- Knowledge of equality & diversity issues and associated legislation.
- Financial / budget control systems and procedures, including standard financial instructions (SFI's).
- Knowledge of Procurement Act 2023
- Experience of working within the NHS
- Up-to-date knowledge of NHS Staff groups and Trust organisational structure / hierarchy
- Knowledge of Agenda for Change Terms & Conditions of employment.
- Knowledge of Medical & Dental Terms & Conditions of employment.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective professional working relationships at all levels with the ability to quickly establish credibility in the role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem solving, with the ability to identify best practice solutions and the ability to use initiative to solve day to day operational problems.
- Advanced keyboard skills (Microsoft Office Suite as a minimum).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, including time management and the ability to effectively prioritise own and team's workload.
- Awareness of / compliance with quality assurance / audit controls.
- Fast, accurate typing and data input.
- Full UK Driving License, and willingness to obtain appropriate insurance to cover business travel
- Ability and willingness to travel and work across NHS sites across Kent & Medway.
- Ability to link People & OD service provision to the delivery of high-quality patient services.
- Ensures self and team maintain compliance with statutory & mandatory training requirements.
- Degree level education or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continued learning / development
- Member of CIPD or working toward
