Salary: MPS/UPS; £32,916 - £51,048 per annumGSL Education are seeking a passionate and inspiring Technology Teacher to work at a Client Secondary School in York, starting in September 2025.Technology Teacher Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Design and Technology.
  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources in line with the national curriculum and department goals.
  • Support and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor student progress.
  • Ensure high standards of classroom management.
Technology Teacher Requirements:
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • A degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Strong subject knowledge across a range of Technology disciplines.
  • Ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate students with engaging lessons.
  • A collaborative, reflective approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one with GSL Education.
