Email Marketing SpecialistEmail Marketing Specialist Grade / Level: EmployeeReporting to: Marketing Campaign ManagerDepartment: MarketingLocation: Hybrid - Head Office, Wigston & remotePurpose of RoleThe Email Marketing Specialist will support Marketing Campaign Managers and the wider marketing team in delivering customer email communications, aligned with the marketing plan, lifecycle campaigns, and ad-hoc business requirements. You will also manage social media execution and assist in campaign reporting and optimisation.You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising customer-focused email campaigns and owning organic & targeted social media delivery. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with analytical thinking, leveraging tools like Pardot and Zoho Social to ensure engaging, compliant, and data-driven marketing communications.Key ResponsibilitiesEmail Marketing
  • Develop and execute end-to-end email campaigns to support the Marketing Plan
  • Proofread and QA all content for tone, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Generate monthly reports and insights using Pardot analytics, heatmaps, and GA4
  • Drive the content planning and campaign scheduling process for email and social.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure emails are brand-consistent and stakeholder-approved.
  • Maintain documentation on email marketing best practices.
  • Build and deploy Pardot emails using WYSIWYG and HTML templates.
  • Create and maintain Pardot landing pages, forms, and workflows.
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, send times, and content.
  • Monitor key metrics: open rates, UCTR, and revenue.
  • Apply UTM tracking and validate all links pre-deployment.
  • Collaborate with CDM team to build and maintain accurate, segmented audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, DPA, and internal communication policies.
Social Media Ownership
  • Schedule and manage posts via Zoho Social across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook & Meta.
  • Run boosted/location-targeted posts and manage LinkedIn Lead Gen forms.
  • Set up integrations for external social media partners and resolve account issues.
  • Monitor inbox messages and post engagement; provide performance reporting.
  • Coordinate with the external agency on paid social activity where required.
Experience, Knowledge & SkillsEssential
  • Strong experience in email marketing and campaign execution (ideally using Pardot or similar).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, proofreading, and QA skills.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive, energetic, and adaptable approach.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM/marketing automation tools and segmentation strategies.
  • Solid grasp of GDPR/DPA compliance for marketing communications.
  • Social media platform knowledge, including content scheduling and performance reporting.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret and act on campaign insights.
  • Ability to use code in order to build emails
  • Copywriting or creative content experience.
  • Experience with Google Analytics.

  • Experience working with or briefing external agencies.
