In this team we provide insights and clear robust measurement around paid marketing activity that directly steers our overall strategy. You’ll design tests, do analytics deep dives and maintain clear reporting so our Marketing teams always know how well the strategy is performing.What you'll be doing
  • Provide actionable insight into customer behaviour to Marketing teams across Dunelm, to drive strategic and customer-led decisions
  • Track and understand trends in marketing performance, providing insight into customer behaviour and developing models and strategies to enable improved customer targeting
  • Support the development and implementation of a measurement plan for our marketing activities, working towards a robust and complete view of the return on our marketing spend
  • As a partner to the Marketing organisation, you’ll work with them to identify opportunities, frame problems and deliver the marketing analytics roadmap
  • Work with the Data Product and Engineering teams to define data products needed by your team to enable insight
  • As a key member of the Analytics team you’ll play an important role in contributing towards the culture, as well as being an advocate for data, insight and the voice of the customer throughout the business
What we'll look for in you
  • You have a strong understanding of digital and / or offline marketing, including specialist knowledge of at least one of PPC, organic search, email and above-the-line brand campaigns
  • Experienced in measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, including attribution and incrementality testing
  • Experienced in exploring large datasets, with proficiency in SQL. Knowledge of Python, R or another major programming language is a plus
  • Experience working with Google Analytics and BigQuery preferable
  • Creative, curious and customer focussed, with a passion for making an impact through data
  • Collaborative, with excellent communication skills and an ability to tell stories through data
  • Extensive work experience, using your analytical skillset to tackle business problems
  • Degree in Maths, Stats, Economics, Computer Science, Physics or a related field; or equivalent related professional experience
