Lead Java Engineer - Java, Investment Banking, Credit Technology, Pre-Trade, Financial Services - paying up to £130,000A Lead Java Engineer is currently being sought after by a leading Investment Bank, to work in their Credit Flow pre-trade engineering team. You would be joining a global engineering team (US, UK, Germany, India), working on their Credit Trading platform, assisting in upgrading and improving the performance of the platform, whilst being involved in instrumental decisions around the architecture and technical direction of the platform. Alongside being a key player in the rollout of deliverables to the Credit Flow business and ensuring the platform meets all audit and security requirements.To be successful in this role, you would need the following:
  • Strong hands-on experience utilising Java, ideally coding on a daily basis
  • Prior experience working within for an Investment Bank is essential, with experience within Credit Trading teams being preferred
  • Prior experience overseeing a development team is highly beneficial
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, partaking in code reviews and mentoring, is essential
