The L&D Manager will play a crucial role in designing and implementing learning and development strategies to support the growth of employees. This position, based in Medway and requires somebody with a strong Senior L&D Background.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies for all levels of employees.
  • Identify training needs through collaboration with department heads and managers.
  • Design and deliver engaging training programmes, workshops, and e-learning modules.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make improvements as required.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  • Support succession planning by identifying and nurturing high-potential employees.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all training activities.
  • Collaborate with external training providers where necessary to meet organisational needs.
Previous senior L&D management experienceCIPD level 5 qualA successful L&D Manager should have:
  • Proven experience in a learning and development role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Ability to align training strategies with organisational goals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant tools.
  • Experience in managing budgets and vendor relationships.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
