Job type: Full time, Temp role for 12 Months covering maternity. 40 hours per week, 10 hours per day. Hours are 2.15 PM until 12.15 AM – Monday to Thursday.Working out of our state-of-the-art 240,000 ft² facility in Carmarthenshire, South Wales, we fabricate more than 1,750 sash windows a week and supply over 3,000 trade customers. Quite simply, we are the largest sash window manufacturer in Europe. We are the only manufacturers of ECOSlide PVC-U sash windows, the leading sash window system on the market. Our PVC-U vertical sliding sash windows provide long lasting durability, making them a truly outstanding addition to any property.The Role:The purpose of this role is to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to achieve production and quality targets while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role requires effective leadership, coaching, and communication to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within the department.Main Duties and Responsibilities:You will be responsible for;

Ensure the working practices and duties are carried out in line with current health and safety legislation and company policies
Identify any skills gaps and ensure the team are trained to maintain a minimum qualified level of resource to achieve the business needs
Lead, motivate and influence team members to achieve daily quality and production targets
Ensure the team are effectively used on the line – rotating where needed and deploying skills where they are needed.
Encourage and support the team, raising and resolving issues quickly and effectively using company policies and leadership skills.
Partner departmental functions within the business to ensure smooth operating practices
Communicate on handover with the opposite shift Team Leader to ensure positive and accurate changeover and agree any actions required.
Positively coach team members to fulfil the business objectives
Record and share shift performance with the team and management
Identify and implement improvement opportunities within the production environment contributing to continuous improvement initiatives where possible
Be a positive influence on the team and provide constructive feed back to them and other key roles
Encourage the company values are being adhered to and ensure they are being demonstrated in a leading by example approach.
