We are currently working on a fantastic opportunity for a Family Solicitor to join a long standing specialist firm in their Family division. This is a brilliant role in a well-respected niche practice specialising in family law. Our client is a well-regarded practice in an area of law where opportunities are few. This role will suit someone who has handled private family matters but if you also have some experience in legal aid then these applications will be considered.The RoleThe firm is looking for someone to hit the ground running on an existing and varied Family caseload.
From day one you will be handling a mix of family cases including areas of divorce, financial remedies and children's proceedings, although the role is weighted towards divorce and finance work.This can either be a full-time or 4-day-a-week positionWhat's in it for you?

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be working across both private and legally aided matters.
  • Dealing with cases potentially covering child abduction, cohabitation/prenups, domestic violence, forced marriages, and social services involvement.
  • You will be responsible for building and managing your own caseload and billing files to achieve a target-based bonus.
About youThe firm is keen to find someone who has a genuine interest in family law.
  • 2+ years PQE in Family Law
  • You should have excellent client skills and be able to build a good rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to work autonomously and under pressure while delivering results.
