Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a committed and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the Eastleigh area. This is a term-time only position with hours that can be adapted to suit your availability and lifestyle.About the Role:As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.Support teaching and learning activities tailored to individual education plans (IEPs).Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and emotional well-being.Work alongside teachers and support staff to deliver a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.Help students overcome barriers to learning and develop essential life skills.What is an SEN School?SEN schools are specialist educational settings designed to support children and young people with additional or complex learning needs. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
