Technical Product Lead (Electronics)

Salary: upto £65,000 DOE
Hours: Monday- Fridays (hybrid on ad hoc basis i.e. some weeks 0 days, some weeks 3-5 days)Additional:
- Holidays: 25 days of annual leave (FTE), plus bank holidays, with an extra day for every three years completed (up to a maximum of 30 days). Ability to buy an additional 5 days

- Leading the full lifecycle development of electronic elements of products, including analogue and digital electronics
- Designing, analysing, validating and verifying the electronic aspects of products, ensuring they meet the latest regulatory standards (e.g., EMC, LVD, CE, UKCA)
- Producing high-quality technical documentation and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the successful delivery of products
- Taking ownership of projects, driving quality and process improvements as the scale of product deployment increases
- Will hold a degree in a relevant engineering field
- Experience working within the Electronic Engineering field in a testing capacity or design
- A strong track record of designing products that meet regulatory requirements including documentation support
- Experience in full product lifecycle management from specification to manufacturing and deployment
- Ability to lead and manage projects including overseeing teams of engineers
- Experience with firmware development (C, C++) and python for test scripts
- Experience managing projects and leading cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of the electricity industry or control room applications would be advantageous
- Strong leadership skills & interpersonal skills
