
Salesforce Technical Lead

- Serve as the technical authority and escalation point for the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, etc.).
- Define and maintain Salesforce architecture standards, development frameworks, and configuration governance.
- Lead technical design for integrations, automation, security models, and data flows.
- Define best practices, reusable components, and support frameworks for Salesforce.
- Evaluate Salesforce product roadmap and advise on strategic adoption of new features and releases.
- Actively participate in platform configuration, Flow development, Apex code, LWC, and integration work.
- Lead the implementation of scalable, high-quality solutions that meet user and business needs.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, automated testing, and best practice patterns.
- Own technical debt remediation and platform optimisation roadmap.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, Architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Partner with integration, data, and Systems teams to deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions.
- Act as Salesforce SME in cross-functional projects and governance forums.
- Liaise with Salesforce and delivery partners to optimise use of licensing, entitlements, and technical support.
- Define and enforce platform governance, release management, and DevOps standards.
- Provide technical coaching and guidance to developers and analysts.
- Ensure effective resource planning and workload distribution across the team
- Report on team performance, system enhancements, and platform advancements to stakeholders
- Support the adoption of agile delivery practices and platform KPIs.
- Proven experience delivering complex Salesforce implementations in an enterprise environment.
- Hands-on proficiency with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud.
- Strong development skills: Apex, LWC, SOQL, REST APIs, Salesforce DX, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in platform security, permission sets, profiles, and roles.
- Experience with Salesforce integration patterns (API/Middleware/ETL).
- Ability to lead a Salesforce team in a collaborative and technically mature environment.
- Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect.
- Experience with Revenue Cloud, CPQ or Experience Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and product-centric operating models.
- Prior experience consolidating multiple CRMs onto Salesforce.
- A scalable, secure, and well-governed Salesforce platform that supports multiple business units.
