
Yard Administrator

- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Update systems with stock movements
- Prepare and issue delivery/collection notes and documentation
- Liaise with warehouse operatives, and office staff to coordinate stock movements
- Monitor yard safety procedures and report any incidents or hazards
- Complete inventory control and stocktaking
- Maintain and update data on client systems and internal systems
- Processing stock orders for the yard
- Maintain records for compliance purposes (e.g. waste transfer notes, vehicle checks)
- Handle general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry
- Provide support to Yard Manager and assist in other duties as required
- Ad hoc physical yard duties
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a logistics and warehousing
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of health & safety in a yard or warehouse setting is an advantage
- Experience using warehouse management or logistics software (desirable)
