Location: Bath, BA1 (In The Swainswick Area – Just a 13min Drive from Royal United Hospital, Bath)
Pay Rate: £14.11 per hour (Higher rate due to complex health needs)
Sleep-In Shifts: £50 per night
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 Hours Per Week)
Shifts:
- 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Long Days: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Sleep-In: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (paid to sleep) + day rate until 11:30 AM
- High and complex needs, including epilepsy, PEG feeding, and communication challenges
- Guidance from Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) for safe and effective support
- Diverse preferences—some love holding hands, others prefer space; some enjoy quiet, others thrive in social settings
- Providing Personal Care: Supporting with all aspects of hygiene and mobility
- Following SALT Guidelines: Ensuring safe feeding and communication support
- Medication Administration: Including support for epilepsy and PEG feeding
- Engaging in Activities: Music, arts and crafts, baking, sensory room sessions, and garden time
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging choice, creativity, and confidence
- Building Relationships: Reading body language, understanding individual preferences, and working closely with families
- Positive & Driven: Brings energy and initiative to every shift
