Friends International (FI) is an evangelical mission agency dedicated to supporting and equipping churches to reach international students for Christ. Do you have a calling to befriend international students, sharing the good news of Jesus with them and preparing new believers to return home?We are seeking to recruit an Apprentice Staff Worker to enable our ministry in Sutton Bonington to develop. Reporting to the Nottingham Centre Team Leader, your role will depend on gifts and experience, but it will include frontline ministry with students, mobilising and training volunteers, liaising with churches, and organising events and activities.Friends International is investing in the Apprentice Staff Worker programme to enable those with good potential to gain training, mentoring and experience towards the full Staff Worker role.   • Passionate about intercultural mission, with experience of developing relationships/friendships across cultures
  • With foundational evangelism and discipleship experience/skills, keen to learn and grow in ministry
  • A team player able to take some leadership responsibilities
  • With good interpersonal skills
  • Self-disciplined and able to organise a personal schedule
  • Educated to degree level or its equivalent
  • Able to communicate well in English

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week).Salary: £22,222 p.a. pro rata.
