This, along with our commitment to our local communities, is what makes working at Puratos so magical.To strengthen our team in Puratos Fourayes, near Sittingbourne, Kent, we are looking for a:Production Quality ControllerSittingbourne UKYour MissionWorking in conjunction with the line supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for label checking, the quality and food safety of the finished product - fillings/jams/mincemeats following the production plan and ensuring that the product is manufactured safely and efficiently to achieve the customers' delivery and quality expectations.What you will do
  • Label information and print quality.
  • Quality and food safety of the finished product, recording quality scores on the relevant documents.
  • Ensuring correct product/quantity for each customer is produced in line with the Production plan.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
What we expect from you
  • The successful candidate should have high levels of numeracy and literacy and, will ideally have previous experience of FMCG or food manufacturing and machine operation, a certificate in basic food hygiene and HACCP would be desirable, though not essential.
  • Effective communication with other staff members.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and multi-tasking
  • Due to our rural location and the shift pattern, you will need to have your own means of transport to the site.
What you can expect from Puratos
  • Pay: £12.32 per hour.
  • 5% bonus scheme.
  • Working pattern: Core hours are Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Alternating weeks working 06:00 - 14:00 1 week and 14:00 - 22:00 the following week.
