- Educated to Degree level or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience.
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- ILM Level 3
- Office experience in the Clinical or similar health care setting.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role, delivering a high quality efficient service
- Previous experience of creating/managing medical rotas
- PC/Microsoft Office literate with particular ability in Excel or Word
- Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to concentrate on complex tasks and deal with interruptions caused by conflicting targets, priorities and timescales.
- Knowledge of the structure of junior doctor training in England.
- Understanding of On Calls & Banding supplements
- Up to date understanding of current pressures of the NHS and staffing issues.
- Knowledge of Electronic Staff Record system (ESR)
- In depth Knowledge of Microsoft office in particular Word and Excel spreadsheets
- Ability to cope in busy environment and under pressure
- Ability to use own initiative and respond to non-routine and unpredictable situations
