- To drive and own excellence in supplier relationship as first point of contact locally.
- To ensure that contract with the supplier is used locally to maximum benefit i.e. make cost improvement projects happen, drive the local saving agenda for direct materials and identify areas for improvement.
- To guarantee the day to day running of the local production and commercial business areas without any interruptions due to service, Materials or availability.
- Provide regular financial updates on price movements and value projects together with category teams and procurement controlling
- Deliver specification management with local functions and availability for tenders and other needs.
- Local administrational tasks as new vendors, contract management, support tenders if necessary, support local stakeholders in supplier management and contact.
- Proven commercial experience within all aspects of tactical and operational procurement on local or regional level.
- Ability to communicate with people on all levels of the hierarchy and across functions.
- Direct experience with contract execution
- Strong in basic data and communication tools
- Understanding of financial reporting fundamentals
- Experience with supplier relationship management
- Current UK working Rights.
