Sitting at the intersection of marketing, sales, and strategy, you’ll use data to surface opportunities, sharpen our agency’s pitch, and power smarter decisions that accelerate growth.This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency setting, can translate complexity into clarity, and knows how to turn insight into impact. You’ll play a critical part in shaping Campfire’s growth narrative, fueling pitches, identifying whitespace, and refining our positioning through data-backed recommendations.What are the key responsibilities for the role?
  • Market & Client Opportunity Analysis
  • Research and qualify high-potential sectors, client types, and commercial opportunities for agency growth.
  • Spot opportunities across verticals, geographies, and trends, pinpointing areas where Campfire’s services can win.
  • Develop and refine customer personas to support targeting and pitch strategies.
  • New Business Performance & Funnel Optimisation
  • Map and monitor our entire new business funnel, from lead generation to pitch to conversion.
  • Highlight drop-offs, inefficiencies, and golden opportunities across the BD pipeline.
  • Use Pipedrive’s built in reporting features to analyse commercial metrics including pitch-to-win ratios, lifetime value (LTV), acquisition cost (CAC), and campaign ROI.
  • Experimentation & GTM Strategy Support
  • Collaborate with the marketing and partnerships teams to test new GTM strategies, channel plays, and content formats.
  • Design and evaluate A/B tests for messaging, email campaigns, and landing pages.
  • Maintain a clear testing roadmap with insights, outcomes, and performance tracking.
  • Reporting & Strategic Insight
  • Clear understanding of CRM software Pipedrive to register new prospective leads based on Campfire’s Ideal Customer Profiles.
  • Use/ knowledge of tools like Alf Insight, Cognism, or Pipedrive’s built in LeadBooster feature to identify points of contact at target brands.
  • Understanding of how to use platforms like Open Ai’s ChatGPT Deep Research feature to build insightful profiles and outreach strategies around target brands.
  • Prepare insights and commercial recommendations for senior leadership and pitch teams.
  • Package insights into clear narratives that elevate our agency storytelling and pitch precision.
  • Collaboration Across Growth Units
  • Partner with marketing to track content impact, channel performance, and top-of-funnel health.
  • Support resource planning and forecasting with actionable data inputs.
Required skills for the role include:Analytical Expertise
  • Able to comb through data associated with our target ICPs, looking at news articles, LinkedIn posts, events, Instagram accounts and other sources in order to uncover opportunities for Campfire to proactively reach out.
  • Able to piece together a strong sales narrative and approach based on the identified opportunity, and Campfire’s available tools and services.
Growth & Market Thinking
  • Strong commercial acumen: you understand what makes clients buy, stay, and grow.
  • Skilled in researching competitive landscapes and spotting new service opportunities.
  • Experience building business cases or forecast models that support commercial decisions.
Strategic & Communication Skills
  • Confident translating raw data into insight-rich narratives that influence decisions.
  • Able to prioritise across multiple growth projects and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail - especially in high-stakes, client-facing contexts.
Agency Agility
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-output environment with shifting priorities.
  • Familiarity with agency sales cycles, pitch processes, and the importance of timing.
  • A proactive, ownership-first mindset—always thinking about what’s next.
