We're looking for an Administrator to join our clients team based in Derby.This is a key administrative role focused on ensuring that all jobs for operational teams are set up correctly and fully compliant. You'll be responsible for pulling together all the information required to complete each job, arranging traffic management where necessary, and securing the relevant approvals from local authorities. Once everything is in place, you'll prepare a complete work pack for our operational colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of essential services.Key Responsibilities
- Creating compliant permits and detailed work packs for operational teams.
- Liaising with external suppliers, highway authorities, field managers, operatives, planning authorities, and customers.
- Booking traffic management and obtaining approvals to ensure work can be completed first time.
- Supporting both emergency and planned repair, renewal, and installation works.
- Managing information flow to ensure operational colleagues have everything they need to succeed.
- A methodical and analytical mindset with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring permits and packs are accurate and compliant.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and coordinate between multiple stakeholders.
- The ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting quickly to urgent, high-priority jobs.
- A positive and proactive attitude, with a genuine desire to make a difference.
