About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Security Administrator to join Balfour Beatty's team, that has been selected as a construction partner for the Rolls Royce expansion work in Derby. As part of this programme of works, which will be executed in stages over the next eight years, Balfour Beatty will deliver infrastructure enabling works, build new manufacturing and office facilities, and redevelop existing industrial buildings on the site.What you'll be doingAs a Project Security Administrator within Balfour Beatty, you will:
  • Liaise with the Group Security Vetting Manager and manage the project's BPSS/SC vetting information on the BBST portals.
  • Facilitate access to project and construction areas for all staff, visitors, and contractors - arranging client inductions and required passes.
  • Assist with queries from the client Pass Office.
  • Manage the project Security Risk Register and assist the Project Security Manager conducting regular security audits.
  • Ensure information is stored in line with GDPR for all personnel - employees/contractors.
  • Act as a site contact for security related enquiries.
  • Take personal responsibility in your actions in relation to both Balfour Beatty and client reputation.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety and delivering Zero Harm.
Who we're looking for
  • Ability to achieve security clearances including BPSS and SC.
  • Previous experience in a Document Controller role.
  • Friendly and approachable.
  • Highly motivated, proactive and practical.
  • Team player with a 'can do attitude'.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written English.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft applications including SharePoint,
  • Teams, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety at work regulations.
