We're proud to deliver safe, reliable, and outcome-focused care that truly transforms lives.We're currently looking for compassionate and proactive Female Live-In Support Workers to join a dedicated care package in Worcestershire.Meet the Client:You'll be supporting a warm and active gentleman living with a spinal cord injury. He enjoys staying involved in life as much as possible and values the companionship of his support team. A dedicated vegetarian, he loves sharing tasty veggie meals and needs some assistance with caring for his two much-loved dogs.This is a fantastic opportunity to build a meaningful relationship while making a real difference in someone's daily life.When you'll be working:
  • Rolling rota 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off
  • Living in the client's home 24/7 when on shift
  • Zero hour contact with regular shifts as above
What you will be doing:
  • Assist the client to exercise choice and control over their own lives as far as they are able in everyday matters as much as possible
  • Liaise with and support the family as required
  • Assist the client to ensure an adequate level of hygiene is maintained (including washing, dressing and toileting)
  • Supporting the client to use local amenities such as shops and leisure facilities and attend community events
  • Follow the service user plan as documented for the client
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records
  • Participate in manual handling procedures as specified for the client
  • Maintain professional boundaries with the client and their family members, adhering to direction from the care manager as appropriate
What you will have:A full clean driving licence to drive the clients vehicleExperience in care or a similar roleKindness, patience, and a proactive attitudeA love for animals is a big plus!Commitment to delivering person-centred careWhat to look forward to:
