Junior Finance Manager - Aldridge (also supporting Sutton-in-Ashfield)Location: Aldridge, UKEaton's Aldridge facility is a key manufacturing and assembly site within the CEAG business, specialising in the production of cable glands and supporting equipment. The site supports a broad global customer base and plays a vital role in the GEIS EMEA region. The Aldridge plant is known for its operational excellence, strong team culture, and commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in power management solutions.## What you'll do:As Junior Finance Manager, you will be a strategic partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team, driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. You will have full ownership of the site's financial reporting and play a key role in shaping business decisions and strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Junior Finance Manager, you will:
  • Own the P&L and Balance Sheet for the Aldridge site, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
  • Provide financial support and oversight for the Sutton-in-Ashfield site, collaborating with local teams to drive performance and ensure financial integrity.
  • Partner with plant leadership to influence strategic decisions and operational improvements.
  • Deliver timely, insightful financial analysis to support business reviews and performance management.
  • Lead cost control initiatives, including variable cost management, SG&A, and excess & obsolete inventory.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and business practices.
  • Provide project cost and variance analysis, identifying key business drivers and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic plans through performance metrics and financial modeling.
  • Collaborate with the BU central finance and FP&A teams to ensure alignment and support
## Qualifications and skills:Required:
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing finance environment, including standard costing.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good opportunity to take the next step in your career
Preferred:
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Planning tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels.
  • Knowledge of SAP
